We can provide a number of different services to clients to assist them
in getting value from their JDEdwards OneWorld installation. Our
focus is the technical design and configuration of JDEdwards OneWorld.
Admittedly with Xe and the more recent versions of JDEdwards the
general support of the system is getting easier, but this is at the
expense of the technical staff not gaining the underlying knowledge of how
the system is structured. This leads to delays in the resolution of
issues that can cost your business a lot of time and money. We have
worked with JDEdwards since B731 and through the difficulties we
experienced with the early versions of the product we have gained an
extremely detailed knowledge of the underlying structure of JDEdwards that
enables us to resolve issues quickly.
Project Support
We are very experienced in project support and understand the
requirements of change control and technical support to successfully
implement OneWorld. We can either work with existing staff or
provide the entire solution from selection and purchase of hardware
through to the commissioning of the live system. We specialize in
bringing predictability and stability to you installation (if only we
could be the first technical support on every site), technical issues will
no longer exist and you can get on with your project.
Installation/Upgrade
We can provide installation or upgrade skills for your site. Our
support encompasses all the components that make up a JDEdwards OneWorld
installation, operating system (OS400, AIX, Solaris, HPUX, Microsoft),
database management system (Oracle, DB400, SQLServer) and OneWorld.
We are also experienced with Windows Terminal Server, Citrix, web servers,
and network management. This gives us the ability to see the whole
picture and address the installation as an entire system and not only the
discrete components.
Problem Analysis/Resolution
For sites that are already live as well as those in a project phase we
can assist your own staff or contractors/consultants in the analysis of
any issue.
Technical Reviews
We have done a number of technical reviews for clients. This
involves spending time going through the entire configuration of the
hardware and software in your environment. This is usually followed
with a report identifying any issues that may be apparent and advising on
areas in which you may be able to improve your installation reliability or
performance.
Tool Development
We have developed some tools that can assist in the management of
OneWorld. The most developed tool is JDEStatus that allows you to
monitor the job queues in OneWorld without the necessity to buy a very
expensive network management tool. Other tools have been developed
to help with administration, bulk updates and read-only tools for helpdesk
staff, these tend to be site specific. |
